Few points to make

- The design of the MR2 is to attract air from the side air vent (beside the door) and under the car, these "cool" air will travel into the engine bay area and eventually "vent" though the engine lid into the atomosphere

- If the car is running (driving), it will attract enough air to cool down whatever thats in the engine bay.

- If you put a pair of 10" or 12" fan into the engine lid, this will BLOCK off the hot air and traps it inside the engine bay.

- Therefore, in ideal situation, you DO NOT need the extra fan for cooling purposes. It will NOT help, but harm the overall design of the car

The cooling fan fix at the engine lid should be the push type and draw out the hot air from engine bay not blowing air into the engine bay for cooling, so should not block the vent for the hot air running out!

Try not to use a plastic fan but aluminum. Lighter and more effciency. The simply way is hook with the original side vent fan. Once the side fan ON will suck the fresh air inside the engine bay, the engine lid fan will also blow the hot air upward.

如果吹向上, 則會令氣流離開尾翼, 尾下壓變得更弱.

照文中所作的分析, 如果裝風扇加強散熱, 就要裝吹向下的一種, 令亂流可黐返住車身進入尾翼區.
不過, 尾翼必須要係有效提供下壓的一種, 否則反而加大左空氣阻力.
Intercooler風扇呢件野, 似乎唔裝好過裝.
